Why is it that so many of us go day to day with just barely getting
by in life and feel that's okay? How did we come from the source
that creates life, universes, star systems and begin to settle for
anything less than fabulous?!
In my explorations of self-discovery I've come across numerous books,
CD's,and DVD's that all say the same thing....We are meant to live
lives of total abundance, of absolute joy. Anything else and we're
totally missing the mark! So how did we get to where we are now in
terms of our deservability?
The answer usually lies within our upbringing. As young children we
are filled with wonder. Just look at a small child when they are playing
or walking through a field of flowers and see the joy in their face as
they discover they are part of what they see, feel, hear, touch and
taste! How is it that these young ones realize how amazing and lovely
life is, and we have forgotten? The souls coming in haven't been veiled
yet, meaning they are still in touch with their essence, the part of
source that is never ending. It is only as we get to be about 6-8 years
of age that we begin to lose our innocence, to buy into the most times
well meaning phrases that we hear from our caregivers.
"Don't be stupid, you can't have whatever you want!" or "No, you are
never going to amount to anything" or "We just can't afford it!" While
many things are said in the heat of the moment, even the well meaning
ones that seem rational, like "We can't afford it!" set up a chain of events
that will lead that child as an adult to hang onto psychological reasons
why they cannot create their own realities! These blocks must be
recognized, then removed and replaced with new beliefs before that
person can really begin to create the lives they want.
I myself have been guilty with my own 2 daughters of the "not having
enough money to afford those things" kind of mantra...and now I am
teaching them that I was wrong...that they absolutely can have whatever
it is they desire by changing their beliefs & removing the old conditioning.
You absolutely deserve to have more in your life than just getting by
paycheck to paycheck. That was the mentality of our parents, our grand-
parents, many of whom lived through the Great Depression. We must be
the ones who shift ourselves out of those old patterns if we are to have
more for ourselves....however that looks to you! I wish you all the best,
you certainly deserve it!
